Girl with the Pearl Earring This is my rendition of "the Girl with the Pearl Earring." I used pastel medium to create this work. The original painting was done by Johannes Vermeer, a dutch painter, known to take his time to make beautiful pigments. He was one of my inspiration growing up.

My Best FriendThis is a portrait of my best friend. He is a smart geobiologist. He also loves having coffee and chatting about science!
Remembrance DayIn my senior year of high school, I won an award contest sponsored by the Canadian Legion. The painting was for Canada, and for the representation of peace we experience now, while remembering the past. I just felt like it!Sometimes, you just want to draw a painting of a beautiful girl. I was 18 when I drew this picture. I think I made this one for my friend's birthday party.
HappyNew Year!Every year (most years) I make a Christmas and a happy new years day cards. I always draw them myself, digitize it and print them. I also write a personal message in the back so that people would know that I am thinking about them on these joyous occasions.
